Never Stop Exploring

img_0497This morning I was inspired by a shoe box.  I was getting ready to open the box containing my brand new The North Face gortex trail runners and it was the top of the box that caught my attention.  In huge letters it said, “Never Stop Exploring.”  Wow!  OK – what was I going to explore and how would I go about it?  I decided to come up with things to never stop exploring:

More ways to show appreciation to clients and customers

Ways to encourage new employees and clients to offer suggestions

Ways to say thank you, nice job, and sure I have the time

Ways to improve my company, my training programs, my bottom-line

Things I can pursue as new hobbies

A new puppy (yes!).  A real blank slate to explore.

How to get out of the sand traps at my local golf course

Some new friends, colleagues, social network, business network

You get the idea… never feel as though you have completed the last chapter – there’s always more.  Never stop exploring.  And, by the way, those The North Face trail running shoes are terrific. They will keep your feet dry in the deepest of grass for at least two years.  They are lightweight and have great nubby treads.  I have never slipped or fallen with these shoes.  Never stop exploring.
