I’d like to wish everyone a great summer, and the cute little Sheltie in the picture is my dog Indy’s little sister, Mandy.  Mandy and her agility handler, Carol Carlisle have been training inspiration for me – it doesn’t matter that their adventure is in the dog world.  Training is training.  At the beginning of her career, Mandy was nervous and lacked confidence, but through Carol’s understanding of Mandy’s personality and a step by step approach to conquering her fears, Carol guided Mandy to her championship title.  Hurray for Carol and Mandy!  Hurray for all the people I have worked with who go from panic, nervousness, and lack of confidence to success:  becoming confident and dynamic speakers.  Happy summer!
